OptionProfit is a free options profit calculator, scanner and learning hub. Our goal is to make options analysis that’s usually locked behind paid platforms accessible to everyone.
Calculations use the Black-Scholes model and a lognormal probability model. Option and stock prices come from a third-party market-data feed and are delayed by roughly 15 minutes. The site is supported by advertising so it can stay free.
OptionProfit is built and maintained by an independent developer and active options trader with years of hands-on experience trading equity options and building financial tools. The calculators and pricing models were implemented from first principles (Black-Scholes, the Greeks, lognormal probability) and are covered by an automated test suite, so the numbers you see are transparent and reproducible.
Our guides are written from real trading experience and reviewed for accuracy before publishing. We write in plain English, avoid hype, and clearly separate facts from opinion. We are options traders and engineers — not licensed financial advisers — so everything here is educational, never personalised advice.
