Who we are
OptionProfit is a free options calculator and educational website, operated by Desego BV (Groot Bergerveld 5, 3583 Beringen, Belgium; enterprise & VAT number BE 0758.632.347). Information we collect
- Usage analytics — we record anonymous, aggregate page views (the page path, the referring site, your browser language, your device type and an approximate country) to understand which pages are popular. The approximate country is derived from your IP address, which is used only for that momentary lookup and is never stored. This first-party analytics uses no cookies and keeps only aggregate counts — no individual visitor is identified. To count unique visitors per day, your IP address and browser are combined into a short, non-reversible hash that changes every day (so it cannot be linked across days); the hash is discarded daily and only the per-day total is kept.
- On-device preferences — your watchlist, saved strategies and alerts are tied to a random anonymous ID stored in your browser’s local storage. They contain no personal information and are not linked to your identity.
- We do not ask for or store your name, email, or account credentials.
Cookies and advertising
This site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

- Market data feed — option and stock quotes are sourced from a third-party financial data provider and are delayed by approximately 15 minutes.
Data retention & security
Anonymous usage counts and on-device preference records are kept only as long as needed to operate the site. Because we don’t collect personal data, there is no personal profile to delete.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18.
